This is a list of grave bugs and common pitfalls surfacing after the release was packaged:

• Konqueror in KDE SC versions up to and including 4.6.1 have a cross-site scripting error that can be exploited to cause a user to be redirected to a malicious site. Read the detailed advisory for more information.

Binary packages

Some Linux/UNIX OS vendors have kindly provided binary packages of KDE SC 4.4 for some versions of their distribution, and in other cases community volunteers have done so. Some of these binary packages are available for free download from KDE's http or FTP mirrors.

Currently pre-compiled packages are available for:

• Fedora KDE 4.4.5 packages are available:
  • Fedora 13
  • Fedora 12
• Gentoo Linux provides KDE 4.4.5 builds in main repository.
